Our Journey Together

You have heard it said that God has a plan for each of our lives.  And that is so very true, a special plan, one that goes far beyond that which most of us modern-day Christians ever dare to ponder or hope for, a plan that is filled with deeply experienced, heart-felt love and intimate relationship, a sweet joining-together much like that of a beloved “bride” with her loving Bridegroom, or like that of a true “son” with his adoring Father.

My question for you as you venture onto this website is, “Do you, right now, know and experience that heart-felt love and intimate relationship with Christ, our Bridegroom, and with God, our adoring Father? Or, are you perhaps like most of the rest of us ordinary Christians…saved yes, and securely so, but sometime right after we received Him as our Savior, instead of moving on up close to Him and really getting to know Him as we should, we found ourselves quickly settled into a sedate Christian lifestyle that was, and is filled with not much beyond weekly church activities and the following of a good set of Christian principles and rules.

May I say to us, that these scriptures are filled with clear and plain language that speak another message to our sedate souls, a message that lovingly and passionately urges and draws and encourages us on to boldly seek for and to pursue a deeper love and a far deeper relationship with this One that we have received as our Savior and Lord.  And such a relationship is fully available to us. But to have it, something more is required of us . . . if we ever hope to truly have and to experience the sweet intimate love that is in Christ our Lord, we must respond to His urging with “bold commitment” and begin to ask, seek and knock.  Consider these words of the Lord Jesus carefully . . . “And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.  What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”   (Luke 11:9-13 ESV)  Here, the Lord Jesus promises to give us His blessed Holy Spirit, His very Presence to live, to abide, to dwell within us, to be ever-present and ever-involved in all that takes place within our daily lives, to be our “joy unspeakable” in every breath that we take.

It is the hope and the intent of this website, to encourage each of us to boldly reach on forward and know the experience of “living in God’s presence”.  And so I ask you, “Do you want that kind of deep and loving relationship with Christ?  Are you ready to passionately pursue after it?”  If you are, then I invite you to join with me and we will go there together.

  1. Jesus is truly my best friend. Do I live a sinless life .. No .. But I have a best friend. A real friend who I can talk to about anything and can rely heavily on him for even the smallest of things. I know he hears me and he always loved me. Without Jesus I would be lost. I depend on him to change me, I depend on him to guide me , I depend on him to warn me, correct me and be my light when my world is dark. I see his love in the shining stars at night and brightness of the sun that warms my face in the day. He is there when I’m alone and lonely, he gives my soul rest. He has blessed me and always answers my prayers. I don’t have to wonder in life alone anymore. My soul is filled with his love and all I ever did was ask.. That’s all. I ask him to be my Lord and savior and he did. All you have to do is ask❤️

    • Thank you so much! You bless my heart so much with your words. And yes, there is such a delightful peace that fills our souls as we surrender each moment to Christ. It is in our daily commitment to “live in His Presence” that we find the loving guidance of His Holy Spirit.
